Why I’m running

 

  • I’m not the type of person who sits on the sidelines when I see problems that need to be solved. I feel deeply about helping and being part of the solution, and I can bring my problem solving skills to D.C. We see more partisanship than ever and ever growing gridlock. I’m going to work through this gridlock and across party lines. I want to find solutions that work for Minnesotans. I got involved because I love my district and I want to make it the best it can be.

 

  • I want to serve the people of the 5th district. We have real issues that face our district, including education, immigration, and healthcare. We have an achievement gap that the DFL has not addressed after controlling Minneapolis for the last 50 years. I want to be on the education and workforce committee in order to help our children succeed.
